Well Child Exams:  The primary goal of these clinics is to ensure the optimum health of children 0 – 21 years of age.

Exams include:
Health History
Health education
Nutritional Assessment
Physical Growth and Development Evaluation
Vision and Hearing Tests
Speech Screening
Blood Tests for Anemia
Blood Tests for Lead Poisoning
Urinalysis
Immunizations

Clinics are held at the Ashtabula County Health Department on the 1st, & 2nd   Tuesday of the month. (in the morning)
Clinics are held at Conneaut City Health Department 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. the 1st, 2nd, & 4th  Tuesday of the month. (in the afternoon)
Clinics are held in Ashtabula Township on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (in the morning).
Clinics are held in Geneva on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (in the afternoon).
Clinics are held in Windsor on the 4th Tuesday of the month (in the morning).

Tuberculosis Testing:  Jefferson, every Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Orthopedic/Scoliosis Clinic:  Birth to 21 years of age.  This clinic is held in Ashtabula County quarterly throughout the year.  The clinic is served by doctors from Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.  Call to schedule an appointment.

Tuberculosis (TB) Clinic:  Held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.  Call to schedule an appointment.

Bureau for children with Medical Handicaps: Ohio residents birth to 21 years of age.  The diagnostic and treatment programs link families who have children with special health care needs with providers and help pay for some of the medical services of eligible children.  Call for more information.

BCMH dietician is also available at Ashtabula County Health Department.

Communicable Disease Investigation

Home visits:  Communicable Disease and Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps.

In collaboration with Help Me Grow and Ashtabula County Health Department nurses provide pre-natal and newborn home visits.
