ServSafe: The Serving Safe Food Certification Course
ServSafe was developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and is the most widely accepted food safety program in the world. Participants in this comprehensive, two-day program will learn every aspect of food protection, focusing on foodborne illness and contamination, employee hygiene, the flow of food through an operation from receiving to service, and sanitary facility management. Thorough training is one of the best ways to assure food saftey in any food service operation.
Participants must attend all 15 hours of classroom instruction followed by a national exam. Certification from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and the State of Ohio will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
